Editorial
Harper and B*mr oountlw art inhabited by in-
telligent. kindly and hard working men and women
who have within a period of SO to 85 yeara made it a
wonderful country in which to live. Aa a reward
for their reaouroefulneaa, energy and faith have eome
many, many good homea, and towns have grown to
accommodate the pioneer and help improve the coun-
try. Progress has been made from year to year as a
result of this unahakeable faith, confidence and per-
aistant effort of our people.
And progress will continue to be made <*' on on a
more rapid scale. That our country and our people
are resourceful is unmlstakeable. That we have the
faith to incite our energy is certain. And that our
future is filled with growth, development and pros-
perity need not he doubted. The fellow who doubts
it is lost already and need not remain to see.

mental principles of the Republi fort made

about one-half million during the
former administration.
We heartily endorse the record
made by Hon. Charles Swindall
in filling out the unexpired term
of the lamented Dick T Morgan,
and we pledge him our support
for the nomination for Congress-
man from the 8th District of
Oklahoma, at the coming Primary
Election and commend him to the
voters of the District.
We heartily appove of the ef-
can Party, which have promoted
the progress and developed the
best interest of the American
People, since the day of Abraham
Lincoln.
We commend the record of
Warren G. Harding and the Re-
publican National Administra-
tion for their efforts to stem the
tide of industrial destruction, in-
herited form the preceding ad-
ministration and the effects of
World War; and we especially
commend the record of the ad-
ministration in successfully con-
ducting the Washington Confer-
ence for the limitation of Ar-
mament and- for the many meas-
ures adopted to benefit the farm-
er and stock-raiser. No adminis-
tration in the whole history of
the United States has put more
serious effort forth to benfit the
farmer and stock-raiser than that
of Warren G. Harding.

We approve of the record made
by the Republican County Offic-

their various County Offices.
We believe in strict enforce-
ment of all laws with partiality

laws should be so amended as to
