I. C. Atchison, a brakeman on
the Orient railroad, was killed at
Waldron, Kansas, on Dec. 13th. A
Muskogee boasts of a ‘sky-
scraper” in the shape of an eigh-

ing $150,000.
Anadarko, in a recent towtf
election, voted $10,000 worth of

works system at that place. ;
Minneapolis, Minn., had a big
fire last week. Three million
dollars worth of property are re-
ported to have been destroyed.
The officers of Lawton deserve
praise for the way they are getj,
ting after the gambling dens and
immoral houses in that town. .

The Lambert bank was broken
into and robbed last week. Thfc
safe was blowu open and $4,009
stolen. The rubbers have not
yet been apprehended. ,
A. H. Geissler of Carmen,
Woods county, has been men-

gressional race when Oklahoma
dons the robes of statehood.
