on tho ohargo of murdering Geo.
Norton and woro convioted of man
slaughter in the second degree
have made motion for a now trial
I Fndor this conviction Scott would
got n sentonco of two years in tho
state prison and Mrs. Scott ono
yoar in tho county jail.
Norton was a big cattlo man and
tho Sootts statod with their wit-
nesses that he was very domineer-
ing and usod every method pos-
sible to have his own way. Tho
Stato had witnesses to prove tho
opposite. It was a hard fought
case.
The employees at tho P. O. aro
expooting a big rush for Christmas
weok in tho Parcels Post lino.

in this linn that thoy have had.
