Tho show at tho Opora houso
last night was an agreeable sur-
prise to many of our citizens
who did not oxpect to witness
such a first class entertainment.
It is very seldom ono has an
felt opportunity to witness such high
grade specialties in a city of
this size. Tho acting was splen
did and tho comical characters
kept tho audionco in an uproar
of laughter. The two old Irish
man wero ludicrous delineations
of tho character of a genuine
son of tho "owld sod." Tho ladies
wero not only good actresos
but wore splendid performers in
tho various special acts. Their
costumes wero tho richest which
havo been seen upon our stage
for somo time. Tho performance
with Indian clubs was something
extraordinary but tho tumbling
was tho climax of excellence in
the entiro ovening's entertain-
ment. To the Mardi Qras.
