ed to obey the dispensary ncto and
work for the repeal of that part of
the law denying retail druggists thu

SULPHUR HAS NINE GRADUAT
City Schools There Close a Very Suc-
cessful Term.
Sulphur. Okla. May 23. (Special)
The commencement of Sulphur's
city schools was closed Friday night
with nn ad dress by J. S. Buchanan
professor of history In the statu uni-
versity at Normnn on the subject
"Kdii'lited Citizenship."
Diplomas were awarded to nine
h'gh school graduates and to twenty-
one graduates from the eighth grade
The cltv schools had 210 pupils this
year and 10 teachers. Twenty teach-
ers will be employed in the city
schools next year. Sixteen of th
present corps of teachers have been
re-elected. Tho school hoard w'li
meet May 25 to elect the rcmnlnlng
teachers required nnd a superintend-
ent of the city schools. Prof. M. C.
Kent former superintendent has ac-
cepted a position In the state normal
at Bdmnud and will leave for Ed-
mond June 1 with his family.
