tho wedding march. The bridal party
have been entertained for the past
week with dinners and dunces. Mrs
Luther Hello Smith entertained the
party with a wedding dinner Tuesday

ger heads" and tho tally cards woro

Commercial club In automobiles ovor
the city of St. Paul and In tho evening
the club women of Minneapolis enter

with luncheon nnd a reception In the
evening. The hall where the club wo
men met wns spacious nnd the terri-
tory delegntos wero given n place of
Imtrortance In the arrangement of x
sltlon occupied by the states. Tho re-
turning delegates say tho meeting wns
harmonious throughout nnd was the
greatest assembly ot noted club worn
en In tho world.
The opera house was comfortably
tilled Thursday evening nt the occ.i
slon of the piano recital given by tho
pupils ot Mr. Walter Nichols. The
program was opened with an overture
In which four piano's wero iiBcd. The
program which had been carefully pro-
pared by Mr. Nichols was rendered
excellently by his pupils and enjoyed
by the audience. Ardmoro has qulto
a number of flue music teachers and
It Is u pleasure for an Ardmore nil-
dloilco to listen to their annual class
entertainments. Mr. Nichols has n
large class and tho program was lis-
tened to with interest. Each mem-
ber of tho class had somo part to play
In the evening's entertainment nnd
played It well. After tho entertain
ment was concluded a hundsomo um-
brella having engraved on the handle

Nichols Initials was presented to him

Friday evening nt the Methodist
clinch a pleasant crowd gathered to
attend the Sixth public recital of the
musical pupils of Miss Atretic Flaul-
ken. A delightful program had been
arranged nnd the audience wns highly
plensed and gratified nt the entertain-
ment provided by Mlrs Flanlkcn's pu-
pil. The program wus opened with
a beautiful piece played by fifteen
young violinists. This piece wns es
pecially well rendered nnd spoke well
of tho work done by tho teacher and
pupils. This number wns followed by
others on the piano and other instru
ments. Miss Flunlkcii received high
prnlsos for tho work of her pupils
who rendered their numbers enslly
and gracefully. The program through-
out wns very enjoyable and those who
attended wero well pleased and enter-
tallied. Miss Flanlkcn Is a musician
of no mean talent and trains and in
structs her pupils In n manner pleas-
lug to all.
Mr. and Mrs. O. TV Gregory left
yostorday for Kossuth Miss Thoy will
spend some time and will go thonco
to Kentucky. Thoy oxpeet to be gone
about three weeks.
Miss Daisy Mnude Webb who no-

just adjourned at St Paul Is the
youngest dolegato who was ever ad-
