Road Puts up Bonus.
J. W. Hocker was in the city yes-
terday from Ptirccll. Mr. Hocker Is
of tho opinion that tho Oklahoma &
Central railway will bo built. This
road has been surveyed from I.ehlsu
to Chlckasha. Mr. Hocker says that
inasmuch as tho survey Is now being
extended from Lehigh to I'nrls ho is
of tho opinion that tho proposed road
Is n Santa Fo project and will bo built
from Paris to Purccll. Dorset Carter
who Is president of tho proposed road
Is attorney for tho Santa Fo at 'ui
coll and this lends credence to Mr.
Hockor's statement. Tho Wo3tern
Trust Co. of Chicago now holds the
bonds of tho road and a German am.

lino Into Ardmoro and It Is said made
efforts to buy Uio Frisco or Rock Is-
land survoy to Waurlka. Tho now
lino would tap a flno" agricultural
country and open a flno western con-
nection. Tho building of tho lino via
Ardmoro would prove of great ad-
vantago to tho now lino dm It Is tho

of Oklahoma City. Ardmoro can
