A good crowd was out yesterday af-
ternoon to wltneis the closing game
with South McAloster which proved
to be about the hardest fought game
cf tho season and ran Into the extra
inning column.
As on the two previous days South
McAlester took the lead scoring one
run In the third and another In the
seventh. Ardmore tied tho score ln
the fourth and eighth Inning and won
out In the oleventh. Three of the
Ave scores made ln yesterday's game
were made on wild pitches one each
belnfc charged to the three pitchers.
Although all were wild at times on
othor occasions they would settle
down and 'pitch steady ball. Selb;-
pitched the full game for South Mc-
Alester. while Nichols and Moulders
divided tho game for the local teara
Nichols pitching the nrst six and
Moulders the last five Innings.
Two' good catches by Carl White in
center. Blair's all-round work at sec-
ond Stone's catch of Riddle's dy In
the tenth and Burke's throw from
right field to the plato cutting off Sel-
by. who was trying to score by sev-
eral feet wore features of yesterday's
game. Ragsdale Clayton and Dough-
erty each secured two base hits. The
hits of Ragsdale and Dougherty were
very valuable each resulting ln a
score.
