bridge tho South Canadian at this
point Thoro Is also a company being
organized to build n steel toll bridge
across the South Canadian rlvor at
this place. This will open up tho
Chickasaw Nation to Ashor a trad-
point to' for about thirty miles of tho
Chickasaw Nation's most thickly popu
latcd section. It will also bo tho main
highway of wagon travel between the
Indian Territory and Oklahomn and
may bo termed tho gateway of tho
two territories.

railroad has announced an extension
from tho main lino at Barton In West
em Oklahoma through Hobart and
Coopcrtown to Lawton a dlstanco of
