were enthusiastic In their playing and
profuse In their thanks for such a de-
lightful afternoon.
FRIDAY.
Friday afternoon Mrs. Nelso Cole-
man ontortalnod at whist nselstcd by
Airs. Tom Graham and Mrs. Do Hlako.
Luncheon was served In two courses
lobular salad ollvim and lettuce; sec-
ond sherbet and cake. The first prise
was a beautiful gold candlestick
which was won by Mrs. K. H. Gull-
lot; consolation prise by Miss Hells
Townwntl. Tho counter used In the
game were very unique bolng little
negroes In a peanut shell. The cards
wero arranged In a very artistic man-
ner and much taste was displayed
nil of which wont to prove Mrs. Cole-
man an Ideal hostess.
FRIDAY NIGHT.
Tho Christian Kndonvor Society
served refreshments Friday night at
tho PIrst Presbyterian church and
had an excellent time. About J5.SS
was roallied which will he appro-
