Bennett confessed today to Sheriff

a gang of negro women and white
men who have for months been luring
men Into hor houso drugging beating
and robbing them. If thoy died the
victims wore dragged to tho river mid
thrown into it. If thoy were only stun-
ned they wore taken out of tho houso
to a remoto part of some street and
left for the police to find.

men. among thoso who have como to

and that their bodies aro now at the
