Charles Wiggins a Missouri million
aire was tho victim of tho daring rob
bery. Ho had arrived on passenger
train No. C duo hero at 11 a. m. Whilo
waiting for his train to pull out ho leis
urely strolled around to tho Houston
and Texas Central platform of tho
union depot. Ho was suddenly npproa-
ched from behind by two men who
seized and held him while a third party
wont through hla pockets. Tho trio
aartcd Into tho crowd on tho Katy sldo
of tho platform. Tho man who robbed
Mr. Wiggins leaped ncross tho plat-
form of a Pullman sleeper attached to
No. C and ran up tho railroad track
In tho direction of Woodward street.
Tho thief was Immediately pursued
by Chief of Police James with n num-
ber of men. A string of freight cars
was stationary on tho lead track in
front of tho Denlson Ico Knctory. Tho
robber disappeared between two cars
leaped ovor tho bumpers and lan onto
Woodard street .turning up Houston
avenue Into Gandy street and finally
disappeared.
Mr. Wiggins did not join In tho pur-
suit of tho thief. Ho boarded tho sleep-
er shortly after tho robbery minus ?50

Tho audacious thieves aro supposed
to be tho samo gang who held and
robbed an Ardmoro farmer on Knty
Flyer N. 5 Sunday night.
On Sunday evening ns tho Flyer pull
cd out of Denlson a farmer wao rcllov.

regain his money tho victim was
promptly knocked down by a pal of the
robber. Tho two robbers jumped from

District Court of tho Northorn Dis-
trict of tho Indian Territory. Tho caso
is styled P. K. Morton vs. Townsito
Commission Creek Nation. Tho nllo-
gatlon set up by Mr. Morton Is that
ho selected 160 acres of land to which
ho was ontltled as his allotment In
tho Creek Nation and later thero
wero forty acres of tho land taken by
