ed the mntter to he Just as Governor
Jonklns alleged.
"Notwithstanding charges to the
contrary those hands aro clean abso
lutely spotless so far as tho adminis
tration of the governorship of Oklalio
mn Is concerned."

olllce of tho secretnry of the Interior
after an interview lasting more than

tion were taken up nnd the governor

explain each one.

Sixteen Persons Killed Many Injured
On the Santa Fe.
Frant onla. Ariz.. Nov. 21. The rast
and west bound limited trains on the
Western division of the Santa Fe sys
tem collided here this morning result-
ing in the death of sixteen men and
the serious injury of seven other
railroad hands.
Several passengers were injured
and both engines were wrecked.
Five cars were burned and all the
mail matter on both trains were de-
stroyed. '
The accident was doe to the dlsoned
lence of orders on the part of the east
bound train crew.
