Manila Aug. 14. The friars
mve issued a circular to the public
through the Ceutro Catolico in
which they anathematize the ko-
eminent in the disguise of an elo
quent and passionate appeal to
Catholics.
The circular declares that Uov.
Tuft has declared war aRaiust God
and denounces the members of the
Philippine commission as four
rickot brawlers.
The occasion for this is said to
be that in a receut local dispute
in Tarlac City Gov. Taft issued a
proclamation to the effect that he
ueither desired nor could interfere
iu religious questions and remind-
iujj the persons involved of the
separation of church and state.
The pamphlet calls the coverii-
ment talkative pigmies vile
persecutors and pusillanimous pol
iticians who are seeking to over
throw the church under the guise
of a pernicious liberty and aro at
tempting to eclipse the sun of the
moral world. It calls on Catholics
morally to unite aguinst'this im
pious and irreligious government.

The diseases most featetl are those which are
inherited handed down from generation to gen-
eration (nutl family to family. Uy fnr the most
destructive of these is Cancer which finds the
greatest number of its victims nmoitg the children
nmi granu-citiuircu of tnosc wnosc Wooil was tainted
with this dreadful malady. You may carry this toisoti in Uie blood for years but
as the vital powers begin to wane a slight bruise or cut wart or mole sore or
pimple may develop into Cancer. I'rotn middle life to old age is the time when
the slumbering poison is most apt to break out a sore or ulcer often degenerating
into Cancer ami Tumors become more progressive nml ulcerate through the skin
Uie sharp shooting pains causing tho most intense suffering.
The Cancer patient naturally grows despondent as one after another the usual
remedies fall ami the sore shows no sign of healing. The Impurities that have
Iwcn accumulating in the system crhaps for generations cannot bo eliminated nor
the poisoned Mood made pure by salves washes and plasters. The proper treatment
is to purify and build up the blood remove the cause when the sore or ulcer heals.
