This morning about 8 o'clock Lou
the eight year old little daughter of
Judge and Mis. A. II. Law met with
a serious and painful accident Tho
wind blew the hall door shut break-
lug tho glass pannel. The little Miss
ran and picked up a piece of the
broken glass about which time sonic-
thing attracted her attention In )
the yard. She started down the step
and fell the glass in her hand. As a
result she sustained an ugly gash In
the throat an Inch and a half In
length and about a halt inch deep. A
messenger was dispatched after Judgo
Law who was at his olllco In the
courthouse. Ho summoned Dr. Alvls
who upon examination found it nec-
essary to take threo stitches in clos-
ng up tho gash. Sho was resting
easy at last accounts. Had the cut
been a little deeper the results would
probably have been fatal.
