Indian citizen. It has been his
financial ruin because his lands
have been so encumbered that he
could neither sell or make a legal

if they bad wanted to. Their lands
in many cases are in the hands of
squatters and intruders who refuse
to vacate and the Indian Agent does
not dispossess them. If all the
Indians in the whole domain of the
five tribes are not rendered lifelong
democrats it will be a wonder as
their treatment at the hands of a
long lino of republican administra-

hoalth evry tissue bone nerve and
muscle should take from the blood cer-
tain materials and return to it certain
others. It is necessary to prepare the
stomach for the work of taking up from
the food what is necessary to make good
rich red blood. We must go to Nature
for the remedy. There were certain
roots known to the Indians of this
country before the advent of the whites
which later came to the knowledge of
the settlers and which are now growing
rapidly in professional favor for the cure
of obstinate stomach and liver troubles.
These are found to be safe and yet cer-
tain in their cleansing and invigorating
effect upon the stomach liver and blood.
These ure: Golden B?al root Queen's
root. Stone root. Wood root Mandrake
root. Then there is Wack Cherrybark.
The medicinal principles residing in these
native roots when extracted with glyc-
erine as a solvent make the most reliable
