ucate or we perish.
A pleasant smile maybe marred by
discolored and decayed teeth. Go
to Dr. Irvine and have your teeth
cleaned. There is no better test of
refinement th'in a clean well cared
for mouth. '(Good digestion wait on
appetite and health on both and
a 1 require good teeth.
Tartar on the teeth causes an absorp-
tion of the minis. Toothache the
tormentcr of the race Is but the
penalty of violated law. .Nature
never pardons. She may reprieve.
- Consult Or. Irvine at once; never
part with a tooth that can be made
serviceable any more than you
would permit a surgeon to anipu-
tate a finger that has a felon on it.

A WIRE FAHINE.
flany Hay Balers Are Idle Over This
Section.
A somewhat peculiar "famine"
is on in thin se'clion a baling wire
famine. Parenthetically it may
be remarked that our town people
who are getting tangled in wires on
every side will be slow to believe
this story. For several days
many of the balers have been idle
for want of wire and when a car
of it which F. L. Kelley has com-
ing arrives it will last but very
few days. The quantity consumed
is astonishing and it is difficult to
fill orders bo great is the demand
in the southwest. A bundle of
wire contains about enough to wire
125 bales of hay two wires
to the bale and the pries is $1.25.
Last year the price was as low as
70 cents. Some years ago the
wire used to be cut into lengths
and the loops turned by n hand
machine but that day is past too
slow and too expensive.
