paper of a few lines from the pen of
Vinita's new poet has caused quite a
flurry among the friends of Mr. John
Harlan of the Jumbo store and re-
quests of other samples of his verse
have Come In fast and furious butow-
ng to Mr. narlan's modesty not a
ine can be secured from him for love
or money. One of Vinita's fair
daughters however without the poet's
knuwledge or concent has handed to
the Chieftain repine the following
verses which were written last sum-
mer on the occasion well any occa-
