The luishunil finds
the home dull and

happiest homes are
those which echo to
the love and laughter
of childish voices.
The conditioni
which preclude moth-
erhood are often rem-
ediable. They erow
out of a diseased or enfeebled condition
of the delicate female organs. When
these conditions are removed and vital-
ity and elasticity given to the organs of
motherhood it frequently follows that
the home is gladdened by the coming of
a healthy happy infant.
There is no other medicine that will
do as much for women as Dr. l'ierce's
l'avorite Prescription. It dries up disa-
. greeable drains allays inflammation
heals ulceration cures female weak-
ness and establishes the delicate wom-
anly organs in a state of perfect health
and vigor. .
There is no alcohol opium or other
narcotic in " Favorite Prescription."
Any sick woman may consult Dr. R.
V. Pierce of Buffalo N. Y. by letter
free. Every letter is held as strictly
private and sacredly confidential.
"I had bren a sufferer from uterine trouble for
nbout thre years having two miscarriages in
that time and the doctors that I consulted said Z
would have to go through an operation before I
could give birth to living children" writes Mrs.
Blanche K. Kvans of l'arsons Luzerne Co. Pa.
When about to give up in despair saw the
advertisement of Dr. J'ierce'a medicine and
thought 1 would give it a trial as a Inst resort t
bought a bottle of Or Pierce's Favorite Pre-
scription and after taking it felt better than I
had for years. Alter taking four and a half bot-
tles I gave birth to a bright baby girl who is now
lour months old and has not had a cay of sick-
ness. I cannot say too much in praise of Dr
Tierce's Favorite Prescription."
Dr. Pierce's Pellets are a boon to
women of constipated habit.

As the acta of the Cherokee
council mus. pass the scrutiny of
Inspector J. George Wright and
then again that of President Mc-
Kinley it is reasonably safe to
assume that a large portion of the
mosi obnoxious legislation at-
tempted by that body will be
rejected The council has ar
ranged for the expenditure of too
much money for useless service
and such acts as sending large and
expensive delegations to Washing-
ton should be discontinued. The
sentiment seems to be almost uni-
versal among the Cherokees that
no delegation should be sent as
no possible good can come from
their presence in Washington.
