The strange thing about the condi-
tion of the cattle market just now Is
that thoroughbred cattle at public auc-
tion are selling quite low. . This con-
dition will change some of these days
and when every one gets the cattle
buying fever the cattle market will
boom better get In ahead of the boom
by attending the Hanna-Hlll Short-
horn sale at Fredonla Kansas Wed-
nesday May 18th 1910.
Attorney E. Huggins Smith was a
visitor from Miami today
E. J. Overley was in town between
trains last night en route from Joplin
to McAlester.
Mrs. Vanct. of Pierce City and Mrs.
L. II. McGii. and Miss McGill of Ben-
