Scene of a Very Pretty Social
Affair Last Evening.
The handsome home of G. V
Franklin in the western suburbs of
town was the scene of a very en
joyable social party last evening
Miss Hattie Franklin taking occa-
sion to entertain a crowd of young
friends.' The evening was whiled
at music social chat" and various
popular games. Fruit cream and
cake served in a tent in the beau-
tifully lighted yard contributed
largely to the enjoyment of all. At
a late hour the guests dispersed
rather reluctantly and all were
loud in their praise of the delight-
ful manner in which they were en-
tertained. Mrs. V. S. Stanfield
assisted in looking after the pleas-
ure of the quests who were:
