October 1 U Indian Territory day at the World s Fair.
Cannot Tlnita be represented on that g-reat occasion?
The town ought at least to have a delegation of citizens
on hand to let the crowds know that we are still on the
map.
Tuesday September will be Oklahoma day at the
World's Fair. A program Is soon to be arranged and
promulgated. Representatives of the Indian Territory
will be given place thereon and will assist in its rendi-
tion. President Roosevelt was noticed yesterday that he
had been nominated for president by the Republican
party. The newspapers got hold of the story first and
printed it a month or more ago but the rough rider only
heard of it for sure yesterday.

The Associated Rill Posters and distributors of the
United States and Canada have given to the World's
fair the free use of all biliboaris in ail cities and towns
of the two countries during the month of August. The
gift also includes the labor of posting the bills. This is
intended not only to increase the attendance and the
beneficial influence of the exposition but is to be a grand
international demonstration of the value of biiiboarl ad-
vertising. All the grafting is not about the land office nor con-
neeted with the government service in this country. One
cf the most palpable examples of graft is found in the
promoter and builder of bonus railroads. Somehow peo-
ple are more easily imposed on in the matter of railroads
than in almost any otter way. In is generally a short
line that asls the greatest bonus. Some very good towns
