It Is clear that in three years' time
Italy wi'l find herself in. open com-
mercial warfare wiOi her fwo allies.
Of what advantage has the. triple alli-
ance been to lis so far? After making
so many sacrifices we see that we nre
looked upon as a leroon which has
ben cleverly squeezed and which now
can be thrown away. The time has
now come savs the Rome Messagcro
for Ita'y to s riously think of an alli-
ance with France and Spain whose
destinies leanings and interest are in
common. Such an alinnce would not
only be politic but would constitute
a powerful economic factor.
