Crandall across the chest causing
him to remain unconscious sdme
little time. It was very late when
they reached Vinita and all three
think it was a moat unfortunate
trip. Guy tried to make the man
pay for (be ruined wheel but the
latter got out a shotgun and the
endeavor failed.

is no credit to the owner-
it's sure to be a source of
expense. A coat of paint
costing but little will add
several years to the life of
the barn. The leaks will
stop your hay will not be

be in better condition. We
have paint made especially
' for open-grain lumber ; it
makes ' the wood proof
against sunshine and storm
and keeps it from decaynig.

Only a Starter lor Our Coveted Divis-
ion Point.
A report has been current for
soma days that the Frisco was
going to make Vinita a division
point. What Is talked of though
not yet announcad is to make it a
freight division the crews turning
around here running out and back
from Monett and Sapulpa Vinita
being midway between these
towns. This is not just what we
would all like to Bee but it wonld
be a starter and might lead to
something of consequence in this
line. The number of persons that
would be brought to Vinita by this
arrangement would depend on
wnere the longest lay-over oc
curred. The families would more
than likely continue to reside at
Monett and Sapulpa according to
the judgment of a railroad man. .
