City Council Allow S1650 for Prop
erty of Waterworks Plant.
The city council met in regular ses
sion last night allowing the following
claims: Chas. McClellun was allowed
$H00 for damages incurred by the wa-
ter reservoir on his land. Mrs. Trott
$100 damages to property by sewer
pipes crossing her lots; Mrs. Myers
was allowed $750 as payment for the
lots where the power house and wat er
works tower are to be built.. The size
of the coal house was ordered changed
to suit the conditions and the city
marshal was authorized to rent rooms
for the city engineer.

Telephone Co. lias been to Centralia
to investigate the possibilities of
