"Favorite Prescription" is the only
medicine for women the makers of
which are not afraid to print their
formula on the bottle wrapper thus
taking their patrons into their full con-
fidence. It is the only medicine for
women every ingredient of which has
the strongest possible endorsement of
the most eminent medical practitioners
and writers of our day recommending
it for the diseases for which "Favorite
Prescription" Is used. It is the only
put - up medicine for women sold
through druggists which does not con-
tain a large percentage of alcohol so
harmful in the long run especially to
delicate women. It has more genuine
cures to its credit than all other medi-
cines for women combined having
saved thousands of sufferers from the
operating table and the surgeon's knife.
It has restored delicate weak women to
strong and vigorous health and virility
making motherhood possible where there
was barrenness before thereby brighten-
ing and making happy many thousands
of homes by tho advent of little ones to
strengthen the marital bonds and add
sunshine where gloom and despondency
had reigned befpre.

LAMPS now onte
stage will work a radical revolution in
the fteld of electrio lighting promising
eventually to benefit vastly the electric
lightiug industry through euoimouB ex-
tensions of the use of elecrio current
and by relegating gas finally into the
rear as & competitor. The problem that
will accompany the general introduction
of tho now types of lamps will be of the
highest importance to all in engaged in
lighting and all these will be considered
in their minutest detail in the colums of.
the Electrical World. This journal has1
during the past year followed more elosv-
ly than any contemporary in the world
every stage of the dovelopment of the
metallic fltlament lamp aud in the com-
ing year while reporting every stage of
further development it will carefully
consider all the engineering and com-
mercial questions accompanying the in-
troduction of this extrordinary efficient
source of light. This feature alone will
render the journal indispensable to the
central station staff and to the isolated
plant engineer. The older forms of elec-
tric light will be brought stronly into
compensation in the industrial domain of
electricity with the Flaming Arc and the
vacuum light thus promising to render '07
one of the most interesting and active in
the entire history of electric lighting.
