Blue and Gray Reunion.
The third annual reunion of the
veterans of the Union and Confeder-
ate armies at Bartlesville will be
held on Wednesday Thursday and
Friday September 10 11 and 12
three days.
The Bartlesville reunion grows in
magnitude and interest with each
succeeding year and the indications
are that the approaching gathering
of the old soldiers and their friends
will outrank those of the two pro-
ceeding years. The Bartlesville re-
union Is no longer a purely local in-
stitution but it has broadened its
scope uutil it includes the Indian ter-
ritory Oklahoma and the adjacent
states.
Tbiii year preparations have been
made for the accommodation and en-
tertainment of a big crowd of visitors.
An ample supply of tents will be on
the grounds for the use of those who
desire to camp and rations of barbe-
cued beef will be issued free.
A larj;e contingent of the Vinita
veteraus are expected to be in at-
tendance. A Physician Mealed.
Dr. Geo. Ewinj a practicing physi-
cian of Smith's Grove Ky. for over
thirty years writes his personal ex-
peilence with Foley's Kidney Cure:
"For years I had been greatly bother-
ed with kilney and bladder trouble
and enlarged prostrate gland. I used
everything known to the profession
without relief until I commenced to
use Foley's Kidney Cure. After tak-
ing three bottles 1 was entirely re-
lieved and cured. I prescribe it now
daily In my practice and heartily re-
commend its use to all physicians for
such troubles. I have prescribed it
in hundreds of cases with perfect suc-
cess." Sold by People's drug store dw

Appendicitis. Some Facts Regard
Ing Its Rapid Increase.
Appendicitis among Americans is
certainly increasing and while this i?
probably due to the excitement and
worry of American business life it is
more often directly traceable to con-
stipation. Appendicitis is caused by
extraneous matter entering the ver-
miform appendix and not by the
swallowing of seeds. If the digestive
organs are kept in perfect condition
so tbe food is duly assimulated and
the bowels move gently at least once
a day appendicitis will never develop.
Don't take chances. Regular doses
of Dr. Caldwell's Syrup Pepsin before
ineals will strengthen the organs of
digestion your appetite will be good
constipation disanpears and you will
feel better in every way. Dr. Cald-
well's Syrup Pepsin does not relax
the bowels by irritation but by cur-
ing indigestion tbe cause of constipa-
tion. People's drug 6tore sell it in 50c
and $1 bottles under a positive guar-
antee. Write for book of testimonials
to Pepsin Syrup Co. Dept. 5 Monti-
cello 111. w
Honor some lady by voting for her
for flower queen.
Wallea & Wilson have a large line
of wrappers worth $1.23 which they
are closing at SO cents. w
Go after the cause. Stimulants and cathartics will never cure indigestion.
They may temporarily relieve the system but tbe next meal clogs it again. The
food should be digested. THe nourishment health strength it contains
should be appropriated absorbed by the system.
