ECOIID GAME
Tulsa Defeated in Splendid
Contest by Score of 2 to 0.
The Vinita boys doubled back on
the Tulsa Braves yesterday for their
defeat of the day before. McBurney
and French were the battery for Tulsa
while Henderson and Stevenson held
the points for Vinita. It was a splen-
did game only two men succeeding in
making the circuit. McBurney struck
out nine men and Henderson eight.
Three hits only were made off Lige's
delivery our boys batting safe five
times. The home team made five er-
rors and the score shows only one black
mark against Vinita. In Vinita's half
of the third inning Meade was given a
pass to the initial bag. He went to
second on Henderson's safety to right
and to third on Etters' safety and
home on Bagby's sacrifice. Higley's
safe smash to right scored Henderson.
The boys will play the Wagoner
team on the local grounds Sunday
and it is hoped that the Tulsa team
will soon be here as a game like yes-
terday's should attract a record break-
ing crowd. '
