Data covering the month of Novem-
ber for the laat seventeen yeats has
been compiled by the Oklahoma
weather bureau and show sthat the
average temperature tor this month
has been 49 degrees.

The coldest month was In 1895 when
thp mean temperature was i The
highest temperature was November 5
1891 when the thermometer reached
86 degrees. On Novtmber 17 1894 it
legistored just 9 degrees above zero
which is the coldest recoid on any day
during the month.
The average precipitation for No-
vember has been 2 38 luches and rain-
fall occurred on an average of six
days. The greatest monthly precipi-
tation was 7 80 in 1899 and the least
01 in 1894. The greatest amount of
raclufall for any 24 hours was Novem-
ber 19. 1899 when 4.66lnches fell at 7
o'clock p. m Sixteen days have been
clear on an average seven partly
cloudy and seven cloudy. The prevail-
ing winds have been from the south
with an average hourly velocity of 10
miles an hour. The highest wind ve-
locity was 48 miles from tht south on
November 16 190(1 and from the north-
west on November 22 1891.
