Alva Okla. May 13 In a long

brought by Woods county nsaln&t
President Murray Secrotary John

Governor Frantic and others prevent-
ing them from lasulng a proclamation
calling tin election on' August G to
ratify the constitution and elect Btnto
Officers Tho court holds that tho
Convention had n power or nuthorlty
under tho onnbHm: act to ovon pass
an election ordinance dollulng county
boundaries or selecting election of-
if Ials
The opinion goes furthor and holds
that the enabling act does not con-
template nor In any way authorize the
election of county officials this year.
The opinion Is most swooping.
Judge Lbtlbettor gao notice that
an appeal would ho talcon at once.
It is now llkoly thuJ"PreId(!iU Mur-
ray will t'cnluVoncf Iho convention for
a day In order to readjust tho election

Jesse Dunn said; "Tho decision of
Pajieo t teurs up things considerably.

Prcsldmt Wj H: Murray will arrlvo

ThlB question now"rlsos: Suppose
tho convention had adjourned sluo dlo
and tho sheepskin constitutions fllod.
Pauroast's sweeping Injunction would
have paralyzed matters.
