RIGHT NOURISHMENT.
Wc think of nourishment
as food meals soups vege
tables etc but that's only half.
It's not -the food alone that
counts but the good that we
get from food that furnishes
nourishment. A pound of
steak is of less value to a
weak stomach than a crust of
bread is to a strong digestion..
But weak stomachs can be
made strong. Begin by eat-
ing less; have regular hours
for meals; avoid fancy things
and about a half hour after
eating take a tablespoonful of
Scott's Emulsion. It's a fact
a. medical history that people
have lived on not? much else
but Scott's Emulsion for a
long time not only lived but
gained flesh and recovered
their strength and health.
From the pure Norwegian
cod liver oil to the last drop
of glycerine Scott's Emulsion
contains just the strength-
giving and health-building
elements needed for low vital-
ity weak digestion and poorly
nourished bodies.

INSURANCE PHILANTHROPISTS.
That whole-souled philanthropist
Thomas- F. Ityan. who buys insuranco
stock In order that he may do good
with it must bo groatly saddened at
Mr. E. H. Harriman's lack or confi-
dence in him. Mr. Karriman has pub-
licly stntod that Mr. Ryan's motives in
acquiring tho Equltablo stock woro not
"pure and unselfish." Ho wns not con-
vinced ho says that Mr. Ryan was sin-
cere. Wo gather thot Mr. Harriman
just dotos on sincority. it was with
tho ldoa of forcing Mr. Ryan to bo

Harriman lnsistod on having a Bharo

would bo Mr. Ryan's bettor self so to

iluonco at Albany and It appears that
they also suspectod the motives of the
phllanthroplo Mr- Ryan who buys in-
surance stock In ordor that bo may do

Mr. Harriman ovldontly convinced this
triumvimtc that ho could do moro real
