May festival will be held tonight in
the opera house. The program is an
unusually attractive one and contains
a variety of numbers.
The Choral union will render the
Hallelujah chorus from the "Messiah."
A company of thirteen young ladles
will give the "Scarf Pantastlcs." a del-
utrtean exhibition in Grecian cos-
luino. beautiful in Us grace and ele-
ganc of pone. An original college
song words nnd music compocod by
students will be sung with orchestral
accompaniment. Twonty pupils of
the public schools will give a gymnast-
ic drill. The University Glee club will
sing "A Juuanese Love Song" an op-
eratic extract In costume will bo giv-
en by a ladles quartette. Twenty-five
ladle will give the popular chorus
'May Belle." Besides thM numbers
a sketch In one act a comedy. "The
Marblo Arch." will be given by th
dramatic talent of school of music.
The festival promises to be tbe best
concert entertainment of the season
Over two hundred persons assist in
the program and tho ecnool has been
to considerable expense and work to
make It a success

and it is time for there are three
