The most Important factor in bring-

many Republicans. While a small
minority of the membership of both

are opposed to it. Nevertheless the
northern and western members cannot
refrain from supporting such a provi-

"Tho IProfessor's Lovo Story" Harry
Beresford's greatest triumph was the

piece is decidedly an artistic-success.
Love Is the underlying motive the
love of a true man for a pure woman
and for that love Professor Goodwllle
the character assumed by Air. Dares-
ford is willing to sacrifice his posi
tion I nthe scientific world even his
friends and his sister to whom he
owes so much. The sacrifice the
professor makes gains the love of Miss
Lucy White Julia Batchelder- his
secretary who ultimately becomes his
partner for life.
There were ma.iv moments In "The
Professor's Love Story" when Mr.
Tieresford pleased the audience last
night with his deep touches of pathos.
The play is mounted with skill and
taste the scenery depicting the locale
of the story. Mr. Beresford is well
supported by a selected company.
Speaking of borrowing: A Atchi-

It Is all right it the turkey crop
dies out. Farmers are raising chick
