from Kansas Texas Colorado and the
Indian torrltory In attendance at the
sale yesterday and one and all were

offored for sale and of the work of
the station.
The first animal offered waa a pure
brad Shorthorn yearling named
Prince Washington from the famous
Abbotaburn family. This was an extra
fine bull and there was n strenuous
rivalry In the bidding for possession

badly but Mr. M. H. Lyons proprietor

Yesterday afternoon before the
court of James S. Cloddish the trial
of the Territory vs. Essie Whlto was
heard. The complaint was filed by
Mrs. 8. 8. Lawrence against Esele
White n colored servnnt for stealing
$30 In motioy and laces ombrolderlws
satin etc. to the amount of $10. A
search warrant was Issued and most
of tho stolon articles woro found (n
her possession. Attornoy J. II. Hus-
ton roproeented tho Torrltory and At-
torney O. W. P. Drown tho dofondunt.
The dofondant was bound over to
answer to the next torm of tho dis-
trict court.
He Used a Gun.
A complaint was filed in the court
of James S. Cloddish by Mrs. Mulhnll
living six miles east ot town against
her son Mitchell J. Mulhall charging
him with making threats against her
lite and asking to have him placed
under a pence bond. A warrant was
Issued and Capt. Dnrnthouse went out
to make the arrest. Young Mulhall
resisted the officer with a double-
barrel shot gun and made his eecapo
around the house among the black
jacks.

Mrs. Hay Invites the ladles of Guth-
rie to attend the Dime soolnl at nor
pleasant home one mile south ot town
to be given tomorrow afternoon from
3 to G o'clock. The social is conducted
