lying on some small hnrd object and
that tho blood had congested about It
At tho time of tho dlscovory of tho
dead man Ills stop-son who had llvod
with him. was missing and a supposi-
tion of him killing tho old man led to
his apprehension and arrost at Ponca
City.

Christian Church Revival.
Tho Rov. J. T. Ogle pastor of tho
Christian church and his members are
conducting a. series ot ovening serv-
ices. Mr. Ogle is tin earnest energotlc
and able man. His sermons are full of
thoughts which purify and build up the
mind and spiritual life of those who
sir under his Instruction. His boat
fi'orts are being spent to help those
who are seeking the truth In religious
lcatters. He Is not a theologian but a
brother and sympathizer with fellow
man in his struggles in life's battle.

Grand Leader ou last Saturday night.
Two men entered the store and asked
to he shown some overcoats. While
one took up the clerk's attention ex-
amining some nice styles the other
fellow quietly put one undei his arm
.nd skipped. When he was gone his
partner had no further desire to look
at overcoats and took his leave. The
theft was not discovered until some
time afterward while replacing the
stock looked over The pollee scoured
the town but the coat was good and

Charley Doty Finds a Good Over-
coat. A good overcoat was found by Char
ley Doty in the alley north of the "Two
Charlies" saloon on north Division
street. The pockets were filled with
a quantity of provisions such as one
Infrequently carried about.
Several who have recently lost coats
have been to see it but all disclaim it
