have nearly abandoned the hope of
Lord Roberts capturing the Boor army
whoso operations around Wepener

The critics are admitting the failure

sixty signers.
Oklahoma City has not yet raised
its bonus of $35000 for the Carnegie
library gift and the committee will
ask him to help them on raising 85000.

ed judgment in the McKennon estate
cose. Ho gavo a judgment against J.
W. McNeal one of the bandsmen for
51759.00 as the only amount for which
he was liable. A judgment of 82 403.31
was given agaiust F. H. Greer Rich-
ard Keaves J. N. Wallace add T. B.
Reder as bondsmen with interest
at 7 per cent from the rendition of
judgment in the probate court In

The case is one in which F. R. M
Konnon sued II. W Pentecost as a
minlstrator of tho McKennon estat
and his bondsmen for 835000. It h
been in court for several years.
