mass meeting of citizens ordered his ex-
pulsion from tho city In 31 hours. Fifteen
lending negroes were called In by tho ooin-
mlttoc last night nnd directed to notify
tlio chairman by 7:80 this evenlnir wheth-
er they would agreo to the removal of tho
pros. They wore Informed that If no an-

waiting nn hour tho citizens proceeded
in a body nnd demolished tho fixtures of
tho printing ofltco. The building was also
tired and gutted. Tho lenders say that
