Among the numerous casus handed
down which are of special Interest to
a great many may bo mentioned:
Tho case of Labadio on appeal from
a 8500 One for cutting timber in the
Osago Nation. The decision of the
lower court was sustained.
Alfred Son who was undor ltfo sen-
tence for hilling the county treasurer
at Taloga was successful in his appoal
and lie was granted a now trial.
In the Sowers Incest can of Ferry
the appeal was also successful and
So worn was granted a uew trial. It
will be remembered t'jr.t at the timo
tf tho alleged incest Sowers narrowly
escaped lynching.
The sontence of four years given
Cot of this county for perjury by
the lower court was affirmed.
The appeal of Watklns who was
sentenced to two years for porjary In
the local land oillec was also unsuc
cussful and the decision of tha lower
court afllrmed.
Tho habeas corpus proceedings in
tho Patzwald case from Canadian
county wore successful and Piitswald
was discharged.
In tho case of David Ithoa from
Lincoln county who was convicted of
breaking into and robbing the post-
oilco at Chandler the appeal 'was de
nied and the doclslon of the lower
court affirmed.
In tho caso of Hays from Canadian
county under life sentence for mur
der tho decision of tho lower court
was sustainod.
