Railway Wreck.
J. D. Ilurke of this city who re
cently accepted a position as traveling
salesman for the Hldenour-Uakcr
Wholesale Grocery Co. of Kansas City
was on the ill-fated train which was
wrecked out of Kansas City Saturday
night and many people killed and in-
jured. Mr. Ilurke was Injured somewhat
receiving a bvl cut on tho lower Up
and a painful brulso on tho loft leg
below tho knee. Dcspito his injuries
ho lent valuable assistance to tho more
unfortunate and helped seauro the
bodies from tho stream.
