The funeral of Oeorge D. Thomas
took plaea at 2:80 o'clock from the
Presby frian church at Oklahoma City.
The services was rond acted by Bishop
Brooke of this city who delivered a
brief impressive and appropriate dis-
course. After the services the remains
were escorted to the bantu Fe depot
for shipment to Portland Maine
where the burial will take place.
The cortege was strictly military
there being in the procession the Regi-
mental band a bstlllioi of the Frit
regiment O. N. O. commanded by Col
Stiles The casket was carried on a
decorate1! cannon carriage whlh waa
