districts and is paving her streets and building side-
walks No complaint is made . there about the law

portious.of the City of Chickasha
into a Street Improvement Dis-
' trirt said district to be known as
Street Improvement District No. 1.
WLereus Ten or more owners of
real property within the bounda-
t ries hereinafter mentioned have
petitioned tbt-eity council to take
steps towaid making local im-
provements therein to-wit: Lay-
ing side walks htteet crossings
and gutters along the streets with-
in the boundaries hereinafter de-
scribed; therefore be it ordiiinfd
by the city council of the city of
Chickasha:
Section 1. That street improve
ment district No. 1 of the City of
Chickasha be and the same is here-
by created and established for the
purpose of laying sidewalks street
crossings and gutters on the streets
within the limits hereinafter de
scribed with vitrified brick stone
asphalt or other permanent material
in accordance with Section 825 to
895 inclusive of Mansfield's Digest
and that the boundaries of said dis-
trict shall be as follows: Beginning at
center of Kansas avenue at the cross
ing of Second street running west
along center of Kansas avenue to
center of Fourth street thence
north along center of Fourth street
to center of Choctaw avenue thence
west along center of Choctaw avenue
to center of Seventh street thense
south along center of Seventh street
to center of Iowa avenue thense
east along center of Iowa avenue to
center of Second street thence north
along center of Second street to
point of beginning at center of Kan
sas avenue in the City of Chickasha
Indian Territory.
Section 2. That this ordinance
shall Lake effect and be in force
from and after its passage that the
city clerk is hereby ordered to pub
lished this Ordinance Vithin five
days from its passage in some news-
paper published in this city.
Passed 2nd of November 1905.
