It was the platform that did it boys-
Iike a platform to get votes.
The success of the democrats is attributable to
a number of causes. Democrats were united there
was no division in the camp. They had a strong
ticket men who appealed to all classes of voters and
lastly they were thoroughly organized. The execut-
ive committee did its work well. It did ail that it
should have done and did nothing it should not have
done. The campaign was conducted on a high paue
and the victory won was Ciean an honest.
The new administration will have many diffi-
cult problems to deal with. It is no easy matter to
do the things which should be done with the limited
finances at the disposal of the city. Mayor Woodside
and the members of the council should receive the
support and encouragement of every citizen in their
efforts to advance the interests of Chickasha.
