Word received this morning from
the oil field staled that the work of
cleaning out the Hawkeyo was pro-
gressing and that after the well
was swabbed yesterday it flowed.
No estimate on the amount of V'o-
duction has been made but it is con-
ceded thai il. is a good well.
It is not believed that they will
drill it. any deeper fearing that Ihey
might drop into salt water. They
will finish cleaning out will put tho
well on the pump an work tho well
at. present depth reports state.
Three Wells Threaten.
Thero are threo wells threatening
today. They are the Central Pro-
ducers tho Kleehl and tho Concrete
Tho Central producers having
Btandadlzed were to start drilling up
the plug today. They have practi-
cally 32 feet to drill and expect to
land something today or tomorrow.
The Kleehl Is slated lo finish put-
ting in standard tooU today and
should be started drilling this af-
ternoon or tomi'orow. A race has
developed between these two weels
for Iho first production.
Tho Concrete is safely drilling by
the rotary drill stem lost in
the. hole and should show any day.
All are ticketed for producers.
