bodies arrived In the cily yesterdny
afternoon on Frisco passenger train
No. 009.
Chickasha retail stores have been
asked to closo from 4 to 5 o'clock
to pay honor to the dead soldiers
according to J. V. Haulier post
commander. T!:e procession will
form at the S. J. 'Anderson chapel at
4 o'clock Wednesday afternoon and
will proceed to Hone Hill cemetery
where' tlio funeral oration will ho
delivered by lie v. Wcnduil F. Fos-
ter post chaplin. Tho bodios will
be carried on taisons. " '

Island shops will close for the fun-
eral. Private Crabtree was an em-
ployee of the railway shops hcra
before he entered the army.

Funeral Services
For Aged Man Are
Held This Morning
Conducted by Rev. C. II. James
funeral services for Chas. B. Wheel-
er age 92 who died early Sunday
morning at the homo of his daugh-
ter Mrs. L' E. McGee 301 North
Sixth street were hold this morning
in tho Anderson chapel.
Relatives present at tho services
were tlireo daughters Mrs. McGeo
with whom the deceased had been
living for more than 16 years; Mrs.
K. W. Loney of Oklahoma City nnd
.Mr. Nina R Fees of Tulsa. Mrs.
Sarah J. Horn of Moulton Iowa and
Mrs. C. C. Kirby of El Reno daugh-
ters of tho deceased were unable
to ho here for the funeral. The de-
ceased has also a grand daughter
Mrs. Ii. S. Dixon of Anadarko.
Mr. Wheeler's death was not un-
expected as ho had Wen confined to
his bed since August 1.
The deceased was born In North
Carolina on February 28 1830. He
was a veteran of the Civil war. and
was a member of the Christian
church.
