City of Cbickusha in tbe Southern District of the Inlijn Territory
piissed til or. linauce authorizing the Mayor of such city to issue a call
for a special election to be held in such city not later than Monday
the 30th day of June 1902 providing that at such ciectloa the qua'ii
fled volers of the city of Chickasha shall decide whether or not tbe
aid city of Chickasha shall issue tchool bonds to Ihe e.ruount of
Sixty live Thousand Dollars bearing interest ut tbe rate of Five per
cent per annum payable seuii-aiiuually and maturing In Twenty
years from the date of issue aud the prpoaedl of which bonds shall be
used for the purpose of erecting Public School Buildings in the said
city of Ohickasba and whether or not the said city of Chickasha ahail
issue sewer bonds to the amount of Twenty-five Thousand Dollars
bearing inter. st at the rate of Five per cent per annam payable
semi-annual!)' and maturing iu Twenty years from the date of issue
the proceed! of which bonds shall he used for the purpose of oou-
struct!ng S3wers in tho said city ol Chickasha; and
Wiieeeas Said ordinance levies a tax of three and one-fourth
mills on the dollar on all taxable property wilbin tho city of Chicka-
sha the pvoceeds of which tax shall be used for tbe purpose of paying
the interest on suoh school bonds and provide a siuking fond for ths
payrncut of the same at maturity and a tix of one and three-fourth
mills on the dollar oo all taxable property within the city of Chicka-
sha (be pro-L.".s of which tax shall be used for the purpose of paying
the interest on such sewer bonds and provide a sinking fund for the
payment of the same at maturity in accordance with an Act of Con-
gress approved May the 19lb 1902 entitled. "Au Act for the Protec-
lion nl Ci ies and Towns in the Indian Territory
