THE LAWN SOCIAL.
The lawn social given Thursday
evening by the Ladies' Home Mis-
sionary Society of the Methodist
church was a very gratifying
success to the ladies and a very
enjoyable evening to the many
who attended.
Tbe social was given at the home
of Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Karly and
the large lawn was especially pre-
pared for the occasion .
Tbe Chickasha band rendered a
program of choice music during
which there were several rccita
lions and songs.
Miss Yieve Scoffcm gave a
splendid recitation "Minnehaha'';
Messrs. Ray Kmerson and Temp-
lin sang "Three Black Crows" and
Mrs. J. K. Kiddle gave a humor
ous recitation all of which was
thoroughly enjoyed.
Tbe band rendered the follow
ing program and received several
hearty encores :
