LEADS IN THE MOVIE
CONTEST AT RIALTO
Nearly u hundred people waited
outsldo the Uialto Theatre last night
after the performance was over to
see who was abratd ft the-.big- movie
contest.
Se - . ipsels occurred In the big
t-.a ip.iIiiv and when the final
count "was made. It was found that I
Miss Alice Holmes who has been trail-
ing uking In fourth place had Jumped
Into first ' place by ' a very simtll
margin.
Miss ' Weir still holds second
place and Miss Mallory third. The
surprise of the night was that Miss
Kffie Campbell who has been running
far behind jumped Into fifth place
replacing Miss Chalfant.
The voting was the lightest of any
day of tho contest as it seems the
contestants are holding back their
votes for a big final splash tonight
when the leader will receive the
special prize offered by a local tailor.
Next week's special prize of a
white gold jade ring set with a
diamond given by a leading jeweler
and now on exhibition in his window
il sure have the fair contestants
hustling as what girl does not
