Whereas by operation of law a
vacancy occurs in the Hoard of
School Directors for the Sctio
District of tbe city of Ubickasua
Indian Territory on Saturday
December 2Llh 1901 and
Wbcreaa the law provides that

two Direotors who shall serve for
a term of three years each and
Whereas on the 20th day of
December 11)02 the term of Suhool
Directors 1'. B. Monlcal and D. E.
Emerson will expire as the law
provides.

mayor of the city of Chickasha
Indian Territory by virtue of the
authority vested in me by law do
hereby call and proclaim an elco-
Uod to beheld in the city ot Chick-
asha Indian Territory in the dif-
ferent wards of said city as here-
inafter designated on Saturday
the 20th day of December 1902.
There shall be voted lor and
elected by the qualilied voters of
the said city of Cbiokasha two
School Directors who shall hold
their office nntil their successor
shall be elected and qualified.
The places of holding such elec-
tion shall be as follows: In ward
No. I at the sohool bouse on Iowa
avenue. In ward No 2 at the
school house on Colorado avenue.
In ward No. 3. at the United
Slates coort house. In ward No.
4 in the school house on Third
street.
The judges appointed to hold
such elections are as follows:
Ward No. 1 J. T.Jennings J. P.
Cross and J. 0. Smith. Ward No.
2 W. B. Capt J. li. Kelsey and
Bn Hampton. Ward No. 3. A. E.

of the City of Cbickasba on the
2od day of Apri 1900.
Be It Ordained by the City Coun-
cilor the City of Cbickasba: Sec.l.
That section five of ordinance
number 46 entitled "An ordinance
fixiug and establishing the fire lim-
its in the city of Cbickasba and for
other purposes" passed and ap-
proved by the city of Cbickasba on
the 2nd day of April 1900 be
amended to read and shall here-
after read as follows:
Section 5. That it shall not ba
lawful for any person to move any
wooden building now situated in
tbe fire limits to any other place
witbin the same or to move any
building without the Are limits iu-
ihe same or to elevate or make any
addition thereto or to cover any
building witbin the fire limits with
shingles or any other combustible
material. Any person violating
tbe provisions of this section shall
bs fined in any sum not less tban
lifteeu nor more thao twenty-five
dollars and each day tbatsuoh vi-
olation continues shall constitute
a separate offense and'subject the
offender toa separate tine. Provid-
ed that this section shall not be bo
construed as to prevent any person
from putting on slight and unim-
portant repairs which may be nec-
essary to keep any building In good
condition. And provided further
that any person who may desire to
move any building from one place
within the tire limits to another
place in the same may make appli
cation to the city council for a per
mit to move such building but such
party so desiring to move any build
ing shall give ten days notice to
all adjacent property owners or
their agents that he intends to
make application to tbe city coun-
cil for a permit to move such build-
ing which notice shall be in writ
ing and shall state at what time
such application will be made tbe
time such building will be moved
and the exact place upon which
such building will be located. If
no adjacent property owner objeots
to the moving of such building be
fore or at tbe time such application
is made provided such property
owner or bis agent be served with
tbe notice herein provided for and
if tbe moving of such building
will not in any way endanger publio
or private property the mayor
may with the approval of the city
