A Good Meeting
Of the Commercial Club Music
for the Stockmen's Convention
The Commercial Club held a
good meeting yesterday afternoon.
Rejwts from the committees on
railroads trade extension and oth-
" matters were received. The
committees are all at work and
have a number of inijxrtant mat-
ters under consideration. No defin-
ite information can be given to the
public at this time.
The stockmen's convention oc-
cupied much of the time at yester-
day's meeting. It may be stated
that everything pertaining to the
stock show is in satisfactory condi-
tion. The committee has the fi-
nances for the show in good shape.
A contract was signed yesterday
for a two day's engagement of the
celebrated World's Fair Indian
Band from the Chi.'occo Agricul-
tural School. This band is com-
posed of thirty-five expert Indian
musicians. It has been engaged
for the summer at the St. Louis
Exposition. The band will arrive
here April 19 and will give a con-
cert in the opera. house that eve-
ning. It will also furnish music on
the following day. It will be a
great drawing Card . for the stock
show.
Arrangements were also com-
pleted for the Chickasha band to
play during the three days of the
convention Prof. Fox will have
a splendidly trained band of twen-
ty musicians and tl Chickasha
people have learned wwt to expect
from our boys. Nothing will be
lacking in the I musical features of
theoccasfou. f
