lands with standing timber thereon
which includes about 8(1347000 feet
of pine as estimated In Mill and up-
imalely 1 U:.'75WiO feet of hardwood
located in the Choctaw nation south-
eastern Oklahoma. The Halo of the

at McAlostor November 'i; in Latimer
county at Wilburton November 4 and

and McCurtain counties at Hugo No-

scattered houses will be appraised and
sold with the land and the owners
thereof reimbursed where they are not
the. successful bidders. The right to
waive technical defects in advertise-
ments atid bids and to reject any and

HERRING IS A WINNER.
Herring is in the lead for governor.
His meetings last week attracted the
largest and most enthusiastic crowds
of any political meetings held in the
state this campaign. His audience at
Oklahoma City last Saturday night was
conceded by the Daily Oklnhoman to
have been one of the largest that has

Campaigns for Her Husband.
Mrs. Frank U. Lucas of Oklahoma
City was here today in the Interest oi
the candidacy of her husband for the
Democratic nomination for state audi-
tor. She is manager of the Oklahoma
Press Clipping Dureau and has a wide
acquaintance throughout the state.
.Mr. Lucas has been connected with tbe
state school land department since
statehood. ".My husband is allied with
no faction and is seeking the office

Quitting Livery Business.
The returns on the sale of the livery
equipment of J. H. Burton were report-
t d this in n niug and though a few ve-
hicles were left Mr. Burton states
that he Is out of the livery business.
Fourteen horses were sold In addition
to a number of buggies carts robes
and harness. All equipment and stock
